SENESCEL is an open and inclusive society for researchers working in the field of cell senescence and with a link with the Spanish community of science.
The field of cell senescence is an old research field yet it is at its most vibrant and expanding moment. Spanish researchers have always been at the forefront of this field in the international arena.
For several years, some of these groups have been working together within the framework of the Redes Temáticas funded by the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation. Now it is the time to advance and get together to promote research in this exciting field and collaborate. With this idea in mind, we have decided to create SENESCEL to which you are all invited to join.
Our mission
Meetings
Promote and organize National or International Meetings and Congresses on various topics related to Cell Senescence.
Relationships
Establish and promote relationships with similar or related societies or associations at the regional, state, and international levels.
Events
Promote, cooperate, or organize courses, workshops, conferences, seminars and any other training and dissemination activities related to the specialty of Cell Senescence.
Publications
Edit and distribute books, magazines, and all kinds of publications in any type of medium, related to Cell Senescence.
Research
Promote the development of scientific and technological research activity in general within Cell Senescence.
