Postdoctoral Researcher Fellow available at the Martinez-Barbera laboratory (University College London)

We are looking for a researcher with experience in developmental biology and interest in the link between developmental biology, senescence and cancer. The recruited scientist will work on a research programme focused on understanding the embryological defects underlying paediatric diffuse midline glioma (pDMG)). These are clinically aggressive, malignant tumours with an abysmal prognosis. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced postdoc to have an active role in leading a research programme aiming to unravel the early stages of pDMG development using a combination of approaches (e.g. in utero electroporation, mouse modelling, molecular approaches, 2D and 3D cell models). The salary offered in this post is £43,374 – £45,622 per annum and is funded for 3 years in the first instance (with a possible extension). More information on the lab research can be found at: https://rps.ucl.ac.uk
